Globally, educational institutions are undertaking a massive transformation of pedagogical practices that must be completely reinvented in order to adapt to the digital age.
To ensure quality online education, service providers need to consider these pillars:

Teaching and learning activities
A detailed course-by-course analysis of course objectives and learning outcomes must first be completed, followed by an analysis of the feasibility of implementing the lesson plans on a more personalized level.
By analyzing the data, it is possible to rethink both the delivery and the objectives. It includes decisions about how the course will be delivered - synchronously, asynchronously, or by hybrid - and how students and tutors can interact- through video conferencing or discussion whiteboards.
Using flip classrooms with varied content such as podcasts, and videos is an excellent way to keep students from being overwhelmed with too much text.
Experiential learning is an area that requires special attention. This is usually accomplished in such ways as labs, field trips, legal clinics, mock trials, and others. There are also multiple strategies that can be used, such as using past data to conduct laboratory analyses, video conference - based moot courts, and digital ethnography. Besides providing mentorship and training, forums must be organized to ensure best practices are transferred.

Assessment System
Evaluation outcomes must be reflected in assessments. Four types of online assessments are available - technology-enabled AI-based assessments, digital submissions, oral assessments and sharing of handwritten responses in digital format.
In order to ensure the desired learning outcomes and meet the practicalities of online delivery, the assessment style should be redesigned to include continuous monitoring, open-book tests, and participation. The minimal common denominator should be considered when tutors plan assessments, due to the limitations of certain formats.
Among the options we explored at Vnaya were continuous assessments for internal students and a remote proctored exam conducted by an AI-enabled system under the umbrella of the Vnaya Assessment Test (VAT) for new students.

Non-classroom activity
Whether they are contests, book clubs, performance art e-collaborations, or online exercise classes, online tutoring services providers should foster online extracurricular activities and social networking.
Creating mentorship programs provides opportunities for tutors and students to develop stronger relationships.
Also, Creating a sense of belonging and community for newly admitted students may require more support.

Digital infrastructure
The backbone of online education is the digital infrastructure. Tutors and students of online tutoring services need to have access to computer hardware, software, internet access, electricity, and administrative tools. Considerations such as cost, scalability, security, flexibility, and feasibility must be considered when developing solutions.
Vnaya has an in-house IT team to administer the main platform to conduct online classes and provided all faculty with technology support, to replicate the whiteboard experience digitally.
Considering how important it is to support our community, we implemented an online customer relationship management system (CRM) and a learning management system.

With almost a decade of experience in the Online Education sector, Vnaya has been able to strengthen itself on these pillars.
