The education sector has been evolving since the beginning. Earlier, there were not enough resources. Though, the times and resources have increased in the last decade. Still, the education sector was not ready to face the problems of the pandemic. The education sector is all about acquiring knowledge and skills that could help the students to excel in life and have a bright future. But the situation after Covid-19, things have become harder in the education sector.
Although the education sector is working hard every day to find new ways and tricks that could help the students to learn in these tough situations, the impact of teachers and the determination of students play a vital role in education to combat the loss because of the pandemic.
Covid-19 has become the enemy of the education sector by closing the educational institutions and creating a distance between the teachers and students. About 90% of the students are stuck at home due to the pandemic. Though it does not mean that they can not learn, but a distance has been created between the education and students.
The technological advancements have enabled remote learning for the students and allowed them to complete their learning on time. It has become the only way through which the students may continue to learn.
Educational institutions such as schools, colleges, universities, and more have turned the classrooms into virtual classrooms to make it easy for the students to understand things. Also, the third-party platforms that are online such as edx, Coursera, udemy, Vnaya, and others have seen a surge in the number of students after Covid-19. In 2020, 30 million students were enrolled in these online platforms for further education. Most of these learning platforms have given access to students to learn free of cost from their platform. Many online learning startups emerged in the pandemic, especially in emerging countries like India and China. According to a study conducted by KPMG, a surge of $2 billion in 2021 can be in the Indian education sector. For instance, BYJUs is estimated to have raised about $ 1.4 billion since its establishment in 2015.

Over time most students are getting online. There will be an increase in the intensive learning resources with high-quality content available to them. The number of children is gradually increasing day by day. There are many trends emerging in the education sector to combat the situation of a pandemic for better education of students. It might seem that the covid-19 has closed the doors for the education sector. However, in reality, it helped the sector to explore more ways and opportunities to establish a strong learning technique for the future.
